My husband and I stayed from 11th July for 2 weeks, we will definately be back. The hotel was as described and met all our expectations. Excellent location. First hotel I have ever visited where there has not been a scramble for sunbeds, the hotel was supposidly full but nowhere was ever very busy. Breakfast very good, didn't eat dinner there only because we're not a fan of buffet style. There were always plenty of staff who were pleasant and helpful. The resort itself is lovely, excellent restaurants in old town and lido area we went to the one's recommended in the magazine in the room which did not include the one's on the street next to hotel so cannot comment on them - just Joe's Cocktail bar, best in resort and also go to the Beerhouse on the pier if you want something different to the lager stle beers. Local Poncha is lovely but very potent and cheap in the local bars.
I spent a week in this hotel in May for the Flower Festival, and would like to thank everyone for a lovely stay. The hotel is perfectly situated and within easy walking distance of the centre of Funchal. All the staff I met, from the cleaners to the reception staff, were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very spacious and clean with a plentiful supply of towels, bathrobes and toiletries. I loved the buffet style breakfast and there was plenty of choice - sometimes it was difficult to decide what to have. What makes this hotel is the lovely swimming pool and gardens and I enjoyed spending time relaxing in these areas. Thank you everyone for a wonderful time. I wish you all the best for the future and hope it will not be too long before I come back for a further visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the Casino Park very much. The hotel is beautiful. It is cared for very well by the staff - the cleaners really looked after us and kept our room spotless. Also the gardens and grounds were perfection. I was rather pleased with the attached photo which I took one morning at breakfast so thought you might like a copy.
